The first few days are most important correct??? After a week can i just let it ride and not change any water bottles out or is there still a temp range i need to stay below?

yea I have always heard the 5 degress above...

yea I have always heard the 5 degress above ambient, but I have it is a SoFC. My stick on thermometer says 72. So hopefully it is only 2 degrees. BTW using US-05 so shouldnt be a problem.

Which temp is accurate

I have a stick on thermometer on the side of my ale pail. Is fermentation higher than that or is it when you use a probe in the air the ferm temp is hotter? Thanks for the help

I built me a Son of Fermentation Chiller, it works pretty good. Would work better if I built it better but it gets the job done. I live in Mexico and its hot as ****. Just got to keep an eye on it...

First batch in a long time

Hey everyone just brewed last night for the first time a year or so. Really missed it. Just a simple Muntons canned nut brown ale. Moved to Mexico earlier this year so its a PITA to get ingredients....
