i think that structure looks good and functional...wind is an uncontrollable enemy, but my guys got 35 days of 90+ temps and with enough water they appeared to love it.

That is not true. There is a 70-80% weight loss from water. So if you conservatively have 3 lbs. (48 oz.) you will end up with 10-14 oz. of dried hops.

I am not sure if you need 10 confirmations, but I would agree with the rest...I too am growing both of these varieties and i'd say top cascade, bottom nugget. Cascade smells grassy, and smaller cone.

The first pic are Nugget. The person I got them from kept giving me pithy bines (mistaking them for roots, don't ask) so these are the third try with actual rhizomes and they are finally taking off....
