I used corn sugar for my first batch but my next one I will use apple juice for sure. Needs to be a bit more tart and adding juice to prime will help. Just like you I also wonder how much juice.

Actually need someone who can punch a bigger hole in the keggle as well. I just have a 1" hole for the element and would need at least a 1.5" hole for the brewers hardware element kit or a 2" hole...

I have made this recipe and a real close variation of it (just added 1lb of munich malt for color) at least 15 times now and the sulfur smell is hit and miss and for some reason I can't pin point it...
