SWMBO and I are stuck at Santa Rosa, CA airport for a few hours, so grab a drink at the restaurant/bar/lounge. On tap are Russian River Blind Pig IPA and Lagunitas Little Sumpin Sumpin. Nice.

Unintended eisbock

Thought this was pretty funny. I recently tried changing the temperature and PSI settings on my kegerator setup to get colder beers while maintaining the right amount of carbonation. I noticed...

Helles In The Kitchen (Maibock)

This beer is named Helles In The Kitchen because, the first time I made it, I had an absolute disaster when I went to cool the beer. It was my first time using a plate chiller and let's just say the...

I'm honestly not sure how the mechanics work, but it looks to me like the first valve is meant to regulate the flow rate rather than the typical all-or-nothing rate you get with a Perl faucet.

Forward seal faucets

Anybody have experience with those forward seal faucets? They supposedly let you serve highly-pressurized beers on short lines without a cup full of foam. (Link to an example here...
