I reused an old BBQ stand that I bought off...

I reused an old BBQ stand that I bought off Trademe for NZ$15. I could imagine that any stand of this kind would work fine.

no off flavours but i found out, that english porter is not my favourite style...

the temperature is down to 22 degrees now but the airlock activity stopped. i guess the yeast didn't survive the high temperature?

Fermentation too hot for 12 hrs... fixable?

hi there,
as it's winter now in NZ and my house not very warm the temperature in my fermenter drops down to 14 degrees.
two days ago was brewing day and i let the beer sit in the fermenter for one...

home brewing was never a big thing in germany but as soon as i moved to NZ i was introduced to home brewing by my friends.
i made a few brews from kits...
