I fill my hlt with ice water and use my pump to recirculate the water thru the chiller. Works quicker.

I used a immersion chiller that I straightened...

I used a immersion chiller that I straightened out. had to use a tube of K-Y to get it thru......used to that anyway.LOL

I made the same system...love it. I use my HLT with ice water and recirculate with my pump. It doesn't waste water and is cools very quick! nice pics....

Anyone know the name of the brewing system that is made of 3 stainless steel kitchen sinks and uses Peristaltic Pumps to transfer liquids ??

I know they are made in the US, cant think of the name....

I turn mine on low the whole time wort is running...

I turn mine on low the whole time wort is running thru chiller..15 minutes or so.
Never had a problem...

I used 1 jar of PB2 and 1 jar of Herseys cocoa powder. Lots settled in secondary. Not a real strong taste of either. I think 2 jars of PB2 could be used!

i bottled mine 2 weeks ago. Tasted one, not a whole lot of peanut butter taste, though you can see it in the glass. Thinking may have to sit a while.

Well i could greatly use one since the last time...

Well i could greatly use one since the last time i cleaned my carboy in the middle of winter it broke and i cut my leg. 5 stitches later i realized how "NOT" to clean them.
