Dry hopped with 1oz 6.2% cascade for about a...

Dry hopped with 1oz 6.2% cascade for about a week. LHBS was out of centennials. Gravity at racking to secondary is 1.004, giving me about 4.7% ABV. It is fairly bitter, but not as bad as I feared....

I made the grave error of not covering the spent...

I made the grave error of not covering the spent grains when I dumped them onto the compost pile...once. You could smell it all over the backyard. That stuff is rank.

Yes, I have found it in the Charlotte area at Lowes foods and Earth Fare. I would think others would have it as well.

I had beers at NoDa Brewing today. They have a Rye IPA (94 ibu, 8.6% ABV)...

Haha...I was just going to mention Oskar Blues! Dale's Pale Ale is good stuff. I don't think anyone mentioned Red Oak being North Carolina. I guess they only make one beer, but it's pretty good.
