Results are in - 32.10. I came in 401 out of 948 entrants. Start was a little jammed up.The guy who won ran it in around 16 minutes.
After researching this a bit, it's amazing how mant 5k runs are...

Last night I did 35 minutes on the treadmill between a 10 and 8 1/2 minute a mile pace.

I just printed a map of the course. They get about 700 runners.

I'm going to do my first attempt at a 5K run in two weeks. I'm in pretty good shape, but I've never run before. I was on the treadmill last night and I'm hoping to finish in 30 minutes or less.

So I geuss "wet hopping" or "fresh hopping" doesn't replace dry hopping but replaces the hopping in general. Maybe I'll try a smaller batch - my boil pot may runneth over otherwise.

Well it's done. I opened it and there was a small phhhhhtt. Cooled it for a while in the fridge along with a pilsner glass. Poured it into the chilled pilsner and enjoyed a flat homebrew.

Has anybody ever tried bottle conditioning with dry ice? How much would you use? I figure just a sliver. Just think, it would carbonate and chill it at the same time.:mug:

The leaves are dry and the hops look like they are turning yellow. Can they be saved? The drying starts half way up the plant. The bottom half is fine. The vine isn't cut or otherwise injured.
