Rubbermaid cooler as hopback

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has used their MLT cooler as a hopback? I'm thinking of doing this... would there be any problems with the heat? Does the manifold filter whole/pellet hops...

That's what I was wondering... I was basing this specifically on the eventuality of having undermodified malts. If they were ok, I imagine it would start harming the beer; poor head formation etc....

I've used no-rinse sanitizer and have sometimes rinsed and other times not and have never had any problems... but +1 on using preboiled water, if you are worried about it.
