I don't have an electric rig (yet) but it seems most people do what you describe. GFCI in breaker box to 4 dryer plug. Then, 4 dryer plug to twist-lock plug....

Are you priming in the bottling bucket or in individual bottles? I add my priming sugar solution to the bucket, then rack on top, then bottle. I get pretty consistent results.

Can you start it Friday before you head the in-laws and then let it go until you get back...
