CFC test run results!

In case it helps someone deciding on CFC copper length and hose.....I tested out the CFC I made. Looks like junk, but it is effective. I used...

-20' of 3/8" OD copper
-crappy/cheap garden hose...

CO2 tank stamp question

Planning to buy this CO2 tank from a guy on CL. Can anyone tell from this blurry picture if the stamping is still in date...or if a place like airgas will swap it out? I know nothing about the cert.

But look at the OG and then the ABV....am I wrong or does that not add up?

cfc fact check...

It seems to me that a cfc >>>> immerson chiller if it can truly cool the wort in one pass?

Am i missing something obvious with this? Besides maybe cost?

You are probably going to need more then you...

You are probably going to need more then you think. When I hook up my lines...the connections usually sit above the plane of the racetrack collar on the keg.

Yeah...this was the only wheel at HF that didn't come in a 'pack' of 6 or 8 or whatever they come in....took a chance on it. I will swing in HD or Lowes tomorrow...so thinner the better then eh?
