I like displaying my batches, thats the main reason I use glass. My bucket is dedicated for measuring only. Be sure to keep your carboy covered to avoid direct light.

Try Lowes or HD they have plugs for those accessory holes in kitchen sinks (soap dispencer or spray nosil). This should work for you.

Bought 5 of them along with other equipment last month. All came pressurized with a little syrup in them. Gave them a good bath with oxyclean and replaced O rings. Very pleased with them!
