As far as the grain used the next batch I do I'll post a pic and get opinions. I don't have any left from the last batch. I have been using 1.25 quarts per gallon and mashing in at about 172 degrees...

No the store here does the grain for me. The time is probably my issue. Maybe took 25 min to sparge to my 6.5 gallons for boil.

For the price you can't beat the system listed. Home depots ge systems anywhere from 60-200 depending on filters.

For now I got a weldless fitting for it since its just the HLT. Once I get the proper gas I'll give it another go. Really just want to see if I can make it work with a MIG welder if at all possible...

For my stand I got 1x1 square steel tubing 1/8" thick. About 60 feet for 80 bucks. Its sturdy a little heavier than I would've liked though.
