I am really having a bad time of things...

So, after a rough nite of brewing, I am ready to pitch yeast, and my wyeast is chunky.....It looks as if it has chunks of floaties....What the heck is that?:confused:

Ok! So I am really stupid....

I get my mash into the cooler...Smells great, temp perfect....and Oh...no...I fogot to attach the bottom for draining.....This could be an interesting brew....Going to have to be a slow batch sparge...

Opinion about iodine

A friend of mine uses iodine for sterilization. I do as well, but he does not rinse equipment off with water before he uses the equipment. I always rinse mine, but tasting his beer I don't taste any...
