I fill my brew pot the night b4...then put on stove on the lowest setting (gas stove), lid on , themometor in....the next morn I am almost at strike temp (brew in bag)...a big timesaver

I use 2 racking canes..one with the curl cut off,...

I use 2 racking canes..one with the curl cut off, then that straight piece goes into the bucket (carboy)...and they are connected by a piece of tubing...no more curley tubing sticking above the water...
