I believe that you just soak the chips in bourbon...

I believe that you just soak the chips in bourbon or whatever liquor you intend to use if its at least 20% it should sanitize the chips.

yea they are a bit lighter thinner then other bottles but i see no reason why they wouldn't work if you prime properly it shouldn't be a problem if your filling off of a keg then there should deff...

There was a thread where a guy trapped co2 from active fermention in bladders of some sort and used that co2 to car with i know of at least one brewery that does this red oak in whitsett north...
