Ken ridge Malbec was AMAZING. Cost me 120 cdn. 1000% worth it. Friends cant tell the differnce in a blind taste test of a 17 dollar malbec from the store.

I did not fill my carboy all the way up to the 6 gallon mark because I was worried about a wine overflow/explosion. (My first time) and HBS guy said not to.

My two meads have been in the secondary for 3 months. They need at least another 6 months ageing. Any one have advice on bulk aging in my 1 gallon glass jugs or in the bottle? Benefits?...

On the other hand, I love small batches especially for mead....no need to waste 40.00 on amazing honey for your first round.........perfect it, then scale up. IMHO.

Good news is...I got a reading (I think there was too much star san in the sample jar?)

so: the OG was 1.115

NOW it reads 1.030

Which would give me a ABV of 11.3%.
