I read somewhere that German brewers used horseradish in some of their concoctions. As a huge horseradish fan (however usually accompanied by prime rib), I thought this might be fun to try.

I see you used Willamette hops for bittering. Would using Goldings make it more "authentic," or do Willamette hops do the trick?

would cascade hops be ok for this recipe instead of goldings? my buddy grows his own and has more cascades than he can use!
