Personally I think that 48-50 is not to cold for 2124. Last brew I did I fermented it 45 and it started up just fine. Just wait a bit longer and take a gravity reading.

My choices for something like this would be. WLP...
My choices for something like this would be. WLP 029, 810 or wyeast 1056. All those yeasts will turn out a very clean brew. Just make sure to keep your ferment temps at 65 or under if possible.

Cool thanks for all the info. I usually ferment inside a ice chest temps stay very stable in there. I can even hold lager temps. With ease. 45 degrees is no problem.
