i have also destroyed poly measuring cups buy using them to soak small parts in Oxyclean. Wife suggested i use glass, but the last measuring cup lasted about 18 months.

so, i am an idiot... that last time i used it the meter was bang on. I just re-tested it and the calibration was off by .7. That would be the issue.

So glad I stopped adding acid when i did.

Thanks for setting me straight. I keep hearing folks say that one needs temp control to get their beers to the next level... I guess they mean chilling in the summer, not warming in the winter....
