I'm looking to brew one, maybe two IPAs this weekend. I'm just looking for input on which recipes to try. It's probably been a couple years since I last brewed an IPA, and I didn't much care for it...

You need to top off with water (if necrssary) first. An OG of 1.300 means you did something wrong.

I think in some ways it's like enjoying a cigar or good liquor. There are a lot of subtle flavors and aromas to look for, and the experience can be unpleasant to the uninitiated.

What To Do With Too Sweet Beer

Brewed a dry/oatmeal stout and it's finally "done". I had some issues with it (what appeared to be an infection ended the primary ferm short), so I knew it would never be a "good" beer. Beyond the...

So What Infection Did I Get?

Looks like my stout got sick a few days ago. It had been in primary for about 2 weeks. I believe something wasn't sanitized correctly when I took the last sample...oops. It was pretty quiet until a...

In moderation, of course.

This is how I usually do it. It always ends up overcarbed (to me) when I shake it. I don't like a ton of carbonation in my drinks, though.

I set it at 25-30 psi, let it sit for about a day, then...

Went out several...

Brewing Lagers In Corny Keg And Small Freezer

I'd REALLY like to get into brewing lagers. The primary issue right now is that I don't have a ton of places to keep things cool. I have a couple fridges but most are full and can really only be used...
