The manifolds may be designed for low pressure cookers..might leak if your planning to run at 10 p.s.i.. those are both 10 p.s.i burners..

Sorry got fat fingered there...grab the nipple as close to the valve as you can..if you damage the threads in the center of the nipple it will still be reusable...or get a i.d. "pipe wrench" ratchet...

Another 1st time kegging question..

I getting all set up for kegging...if i want to force carb "set it and forget it" at 11-12 p.s.i. am i going to need to leave the keg hooked up to the co2 for the duration of the carbonation period?...

Old Malt Extract

My coworker quit brewing and gave me his old equipment in the mix was 4 gallons of this malt extract..its old,looks smells and tastes like molasses, has kind of a sharp after taste...should i brew it...

Ok..those orfices look like they are they are ment to be sold with those 60 k burners..im guessing they are set pretty close to that demand..there is no excess flow valve built into the tank...

I dont know what orfice size u have there but u maybe overloading your regulator...if it was the same mr heater reg i saw it had a max or 160 kbtu..i have seen those bg14 orficed out to 70-80kbtu..

I did this with my first all grain batch on the 1 st...i just waited until the 1 st runnings came to a boil before heating the 2nd runnings strike water..it seems like every thing came out ok.....

Looks like a high pressure regulator that u have on there you will want something with 11-13" w.c. output for those burners as far as testing that for leaks shut off your needle valves add pressure...

Copper tubing will in time corrode with the propane . If the copper tubing is left untouched it generally wont cause any problems like the pigtail used to hookup the larger tanks for household use....

I dont think the thermostat on the water heater...

I dont think the thermostat on the water heater valve will get you up to tempature that would be useful... The limit is probably 140f. If its a propane valve the main burner outlet maybe 1/2 left...

Its either your locking up the regulator, at full burn your pulling some where around 600 kbtu...
