You need it hooked up for sure while it's carbing...

You need it hooked up for sure while it's carbing up. Then when it's dispensing if you don;t leave it hooked up it will slowly loose pressure and carbonation as you dispense.

When I lived in Greenville I always used Thomas Creek. The best part was you could e-mail them your order, tell them when you will pick it up, and they will have it ready, milled and whatever else...

I usually mull grain am mash in with my 3 year old helping in the late afternoon. But I wait to start the boil until they are in bed.

I don't want them around a Keebler of boiling wort.

why would you filter? You need some yeast to go...

why would you filter? You need some yeast to go in there. And I am not sure you would be able to push beer through a filter with a straight siphon.

Our U-verse contract is up at the end of the month and it is getting cancelled. 100 bucks a month, 500 some chanels, and nothing worth watching. No thanks.

I always dry mine on a towel after use and get about 2 months out of one blade. I imagine storing them in alcohol is even better.

As long as they are clean I don't see a benefit in storing them wet. You sanitize anyway before use.
