again, thanks for all the help! We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn near the Metrodome ... just 20 feet from Town Hall brewery. They had great beers, and The Republic was just across the street...

depends on your setup / gear. I have a big boil pot... I like to have 5.5g in my fermentor and I boil off 1g in the boil, so I shoot for 6.5g at the start of the boil. Hope that helps
