I wouldn't do it, toss the cereal in the mash so you can boil out germs/bacteria and avoid potentially ruining your beer.

I have never "removed" hops once added. At end of boil it is customary to do a whirlpool then cool and drain the wort leaving the hop trub behind as much as possible.

I still love my IPAs but they have become a bit passe.
