Speaking of cooling wort, when brewing with extract you usually only boil about three gallons. Could you not just add ice to the hot wort to cool it down quickly? Would there be a problem with that?

The brewery said they did not have fittings for corny kegs and they were unable to do it. Could they not just fill it up like I would rack it into the keg, and then I could purge it and pressurize...
