In one word 'NO' you dont have a problem. The airlock during fermentation may react in many different ways. Let your beer sit in the fermentor for a couple weeks and it should be fine.

Im in Nova Scotia and have been capping Canadian twist off bottles for 7 years with a bench capper. Haven't had an issue yet except maybe 3 or 4 bad seals (flat beer) so you should be fine.
