We just went thru the same thing. $6500! Dog is now doing very well. Have you gone thru the cortisone treatments? That worked for our other dog, been a year with no return of symptoms.

If ya are into simple juice based wine, I ran into a great deal on Welch's Farmer Pick juices. At least in Florida, BJ Wholesale club is pushing the blackberry and mango juice. Works out to 62 cents...

You can also tape them to the outside and cover with insulation. Run a test using ur fermenter filled with water and a probe taped and one inside to see if you get much of a difference.

I brew at about 10-12 bucks per 5 gal. Buy bulk, stop using kits. Also wine is a great savings, very easy to make quality equal to Carlo Rossi. Using only juice runs about 20 bucks/5 gal
