For both the pin lock gas and beer posts I have been using the 10mm (ID) X 16mm (OD) X 3mm (W) for over a year. They work great.

I would guess your lower Conlon yields are due to lack of fertilizer. Your soil needs about 1.6lbs N, 0.3lb/ac P, and 5lb/ac K for every bushel. If possible the P should be 2" below the seed....
