I had a similar issue with it taking 9-10 months...

I had a similar issue with it taking 9-10 months to get my stand. I paid in full as well but it did finally get to me. I think I was probably one of the last ones he finished before closing up shop....

I'm glad I found this thread and it's recent. I too made a 1.090 Wee heavy w/ edinburgh yeast 028. Fermented at 65 for about 4 days then raised one degree a day to 68 till ferment completed at 1.030....

I'm going to be using the Weyermann Floor malted Bo-Pils Malt. My understanding is it is less than well modified. But Reading MJohnson I guess it shouldn't matter.

I don't know how to tell a difference off hand. but wyeast site has attenuation at 73-77%. so if I could assume 75% attenuation that would leave me at a finish gravity of 1.018. So I"m about 10...
