American 2 row SMASH

Vanguard hops come from Hallertau parentage. They are mild, slightly spicey, herbal, and a little fruity. Almost like a mix of Noble hops.

IMHO...an American 2 row would not have enough malt backbone to stand up to a big hop schedule. You want a more balanced approach with equal malt and hop profile. I have had very good success brewing...

I let the Polaris single hop IPA condition for another month. I just shared a case with some friends, wow, what a difference a month made. Just an outstanding beer. I will definately brew this again.

Actually... I bought both the 600 and the 400. The 600 does a fine job. It is actually finer than a muslin sack.
