I would suggest 2 or 1.5 packs. I've found that 11g of S05 only gets it down to about 1.016 from 1.070.

If I understand you right, I don't think so. The barbs on either side of the valve handle are different sizes so gas in is (from tank) on one side and out (to CPBF T) is the other.

I primary for 2 weeks and then keg. They taste right as soon carbed, usually a week but they taste BEST after another 3 weeks in the keg. I wouldn't call them tart or sour or any other words used...

In the meantime I kegged my Blonde Ale after 10 days. I didn't get a ton of spruce scent or flavour out of the sample. I might dry-spruce in a bit.
