when the gravity is 1.062 and the recommendation from the manufacturer is to make a starter, I'd be more worried about not making a starter. It's easy to do.

I've done a couple batches where I rack from the primary of batch #1 the same morning I brew batch #2. I just take the yeast and trub from #1 and dump it into #2. Works like a charm. My Gypsy...
