Quick update I found out that this could be the Boddington strain and let me tell you the stout is super creamy. Almost has a milk stout body/feel. Its also a super top cropper...

I did an experiment to see what light and oxygen do to a Meade. I usually make extra must to top up the secondary. I just let that sit out and let the vodka in the airlock dry out, tons of head space...

I just brewed a Scottish ale and it tastes like water. It came with both LME and DME? I might have not steeped the grains enough, but I would say I have had better luck with other kits.

I started it on 3/24 and bottled on 4/24. I also had a fact pointed out to me by my beerbrotha that I took my measurement after I added the 5 oz of sugar DOH! I think It might be OK. I will check...

I made this hop schedule and an Irish red malt bill, mostly maris otter. Did not dry hop. I lost the hops by using Nottingham dry yeast. Next time I will dry hop and use the correct yeast.
