You can put them in the oven for about 12-24 hours at 150F, that has worked for me in the past.

** FYI ** - You'll probably lose a couple of bottles to explosion though so be smart about it.

You could.. but what would be the point? Just buy a kit that matches the beer you want to make. It seems idiotic to buy two kits when you could just get one with a higher gravity.

I just brewed a bock this past Monday with 2206....

I just brewed a bock this past Monday with 2206. Pitched at 48F and had very active fermentation within 24 hours. OG was 1076 and I pitched a 2 gallon starter. Hope that helps.

I would recommend letting it ride out in the primary for the 3-4 weeks. I think having the oak chips in the primary will, if anything, mellow out the "oakiness"...
