Nice looking plants. I'd say get a ladder and keep em trained away from each other. Or maybe come harvest cut the base bine and wait tik the leaves start to wilt then pick that variety before cutting...

Anybody else have cones? There's prob 30-40 on each of the cascades and nugget from the first burrs formed. Everybody is topped the 18' lines except Mt. Hood and EKG. I harvested about a dozen each...

That's plenty of time. Specially for an IPA. Hops cover up. Proper pitch rate and temp control is key. I take all my IPA's grain to glass at 4-6 weeks. Primary 2. Dry hop 1. And condition/carb 1-3....

Cascades and nugget winning the race at 12+ft just like last year. Centennials and willimette not far behind. Cascades are throwing out side arms and cones forming all over.

Agreed. Or run new cable from dead man up across and back down. That is how mine is done and slack in the dead man allows for lowering the line down for easier harvest.

Cut off prob 50 bones today off my 2nd year crowns. Mainly centennial and cascade and some nugget. Looks a lot better. Cascade especially was going nut with 15-20 nines per plant.
