I recently invested in a stir plate. Adding 0.2 g yeast nutrient 5 minutes before the end of the boil and pitch it all after roughly 24 hours. The results have been amazing.

That's just it. As far as I could tell, there was never krausen on top of the beer to fall. Used a yeast starter and it seemed to blow it all up top. Should turn out fine. It's just...weird.

I'm looking at small amounts to tweak an English bitter.
0.5 g. / gal. of Epsom gives me 52 ppm sulfates / 13 ppm magnesium
I'm wondering if Epsom in lieu of gypsum will change the flavor.

I couldn't feed the tubing from the probe end because I would have to pull on the probe to get leverage, probably pulling it right out of the housing.
So I did it the hard way from the other end...

The 1st batch I screwed up has been bottled about 3 weeks. It's settled down a bit to be drinkable, but not by much. :-)
Made 2nd batch last night. Mashed at 156 and used 12 oz. honey. OG is 1.058....

I was bit short on the mash temp. Brewed in the garage in Minnesota. Target was 152. I hit 150. Everything else went smoothly.
Yeast was white labs London ale WLP013.
