I think most people are doing at least a month primary (I did). You might do at least 4 weeks secondary. I've had mine lagering for about 5 weeks now and it still has a slight alcohol bite...so maybe...

Just for my own knowledge, you hit your final gravity? I'm being lazy about taking a gravity ready and it sounds like you and I brewed close to the same batch.

I would give everything a good cleaning just to get the "leftovers" from manufacturing off (metal filings, oila, etc). Since you are still before the boil when you use this you don't have to worry...

What temps are you fermenting at and for how long? If I've read correct Nottingham works best at mid 60s. I've got another batch going righty now that i'm keeping around 66-68. I always give this one...

Did the extract version of this...added centennial for bittering since AHBS cascade came in a little low on the %AA.

10 days primary, cold crashed, kegged and chilled for 1 week. Amazing! Crisp...

Aight...didn't make sense that Briess didn't make an extra light DME but that is what AHBS is selling. It's actually the Briess pilsen they just call it extra light. :drunk:
