Yea. All my gravity readings were where they needed to be. The second I think has to much adjunct compared to 2 row. I think the first one is the ticket. Swapping out rice with corn.

Christ my 90 year old neighbor used to drink that stuff when I was a kid. He would drink one and line out it on his mantle and line the all up and call them soldiers. Those were the days. lol

Black ops is good, but really smokey and oakey when young. It ages great. I had a bottle from 2011 that my brother in law and I drank about 3 weeks ago and everything mellowed out and blended nicely.

Stopping a hop bine from getting any longer

If I snip off the tip will it stop growing but still produce cones? I have an 8' trellis and my bones are already at 9'. I need to prevent further growth

Too late. Lol I misread my last recipe. It called for .5 pound. I had crystal in the last one but outdid produce what I'm looking for. Looks like ill have a pretty toasty/roasty session ale.

I used Wyeast before I just think White Labs have better quality yeast. Maybe its just because of the packaging, but if everytime I buy a vial half of it blows all over the place its really not worth...
