I'm not sure I buy this. I've never bottled from my fermenter, but there can be a LOT of sediment in a fermenter, and my bottle bucket is basically sediment free after I rack to it.

Put the bucket on the ground, and drive your knee into the middle of the lid while tugging on the lip of the lid. It makes it a LOT easier to open.

Just get a couple extra kegs (and hide them well) The lag time between brewing and serving will even let you naturally carb them, saving yourself some CO2 costs.
