I'm not sure I buy this. I've never bottled from my fermenter, but there can be a LOT of sediment in a fermenter, and my bottle bucket is basically sediment free after I rack to it.

That tool works fine on standard 5 gallons, but it's worthless on the Austin Homebrew 7.9 gallon buckets. It just breaks the lid.
My knee, OTOH, is a universal tool. :ban:

Put the bucket on the ground, and drive your knee...
Put the bucket on the ground, and drive your knee into the middle of the lid while tugging on the lip of the lid. It makes it a LOT easier to open.

Just get a couple extra kegs (and hide them well) The lag time between brewing and serving will even let you naturally carb them, saving yourself some CO2 costs.
