No more then 15lbs at a time, but I am sure I am over 100lbs. Two batches ago I hooked a drill up to my mill. The jury is still out on if I like it.

Thanks I will go through my mill with a fine tooth comb. The first batch with the drill had 20% wheat so I blamed it on the wheat. The second batch was all barley so it should have crushed well.

Has anyone noticed a drop in efficiency when going to a motorized mill with these Corona mills? My last two batches have had a 5% drop in efficiency. The crush looks ok, it is kinda strange.

Pesonally for me it was just about the year mark for reawakening a yeast. Actually I did it twice since I had two yeast jars I found in the back of the fridge I had forgotten about.

Usually I have between 6.25 and 6.75 gal of strike water when I am no sparge brewing. To be honest I just put in what Beersmith tells me to, I trust that it is correct.

The sour taste says to me infection somewhere in your system anything plastic is suspect. But if you don't have temp control that would make some yeasts taste off.
