Mash in with 4 gallon at 152 for 60 min. With 20...

Mash in with 4 gallon at 152 for 60 min. With 20 minutes left Boil my temperature dropped to 145. I added he and over shot my temp to 160. I stirred until Mech lowered back to 152.

I fly sparged...

Og ready way off

I'm brewing a stout and my pre-boil reading is way off. Beersmith says my og should be 1.044. My og is reading 1.036. How bad is this. Should I panic.

I'm having a problem with my gravity. I followed the all grain recipe but my og is reading 1.040. What did I do wrong and did I ruin this batch?

I'm kind of freaking out about a yeast starter I started earlier today. Juggling a cook tomorrow and finishing my Xmas shopping has me worn a bit thin. As a result I forgot to activate my wyeast 1028...

I ended up with 11.5 gallons. I'll check my notes...

I ended up with 11.5 gallons. I'll check my notes when I get home but I'm assuming beersmith calculated for the three hour boil.

Yep, posted the the recipe to show my mistake. Somehow I entered 3 hrs into beersmith. I'm guessing I should through out the beer and start again.
