Carafoam is Fermentable

I did an experiment to determine if Carafoam really just adds non-fermentable body-building dextrines or if it fully fermentable.

Hydrometer sample was very nice, but perhaps a little boring. I tend to like bold flavors...this is more "delicate."

Beersmith is recommending the set-and-forget psi, assuming serving temperature. This is the best method, IMHO.
It will take 10-21 days to fully equalize.

The locknut that goes over the thread is 1/2" NPT. If you have enough leftover thread, you could do a female 1/2" NPT elbow or street. Otherwise, it looks like a 3/8" male NPT elbow on the interior...

I have found US-05 to be a very slow starter. Without rehydrating, lag can take up to 48 hours before airlock activity kicks in. I still love it.
