I've never tried that. I've always been skeered of bottle bombs. But, if you're kegging, that could be a different story. Btw, at 5 lbs, I don't know if you'll get as much strawberry flavor.

Not sure. I've never used a starter on this beer, or any other for that matter, and its always turned out fine. I'm sure some others will chime in!

I've heard of some people doing that. I think freezing is the best alternative, personally. When you freeze the fruit, it causes the fruit to "explode" (can't find the word I'm looking for here)...

Looks good!! Yeah, I noticed my last batch had a pretty good tartness to it. Its 2 weeks in the bottle today! I figure in another week it'll mellow out nicely!

Quite the predicament!! I don't think I'd bottle just yet. I think you've got a couple of options..

1. Sanitize a strainer and get alltge strawberries out, then let it set for at least a week......
