Thank you for the reply! This has struck such a nerve I went out a bought another bottle.

I may have to spend the next year searching for the aroma. It was as if I opened a bottle of fresh hops.

I was making a 1 litre starter, and as I was pitching the yeast, it all but exploded. I admit I did agitate/shake the vial. I also let it sit after for nearly 15 mins....
