I don't to alarm you because it's probably just that the yeast was roused, possibly warmed, and is doing some cleanup but I don't think cocoa nibs contain sugar.

Does it drain out all the liquid? If so, I believe the answer would be yes. A good way to test it is to put 3-gallons of water in, drain it, and see how much you're missing.

If it tastes good then it's not too long. Vanilla, and other flavours, can overpower but if you're not infected, tasting, good, and are happy with it - you're golden. Enjoy!
