Glad to hear you're overall happy with it. Hopefully I don't have the issues you've had. Even though I know it's backordered, I'm still watching the order like a hawk. It's going to be a long 6+...

That's not enough?

A friend of mine made jynnan tonnyx jello shots: Slices of lime filled with crystal clear jello, and a sprinkling of some popping sugar and citric acid. The degree of novelty...

FWIW, I ordered the K309B-3 today. The site shows every one of their 3-tap kegerators on backorder until 6/1/2014. I spoke with one of their salesman, and it turns out they're out of the 3-tap...

Keezer/Kegerator Parts from Amazon

I'm about to embark on building a keezer or kegerator. I have a budget of about $800, but 400 is locked up in credit on Amazon.

I'd like something with at least 3 on tap. I was going to go with...

I'm eyeing the Kegco 3-tap myself. There are a couple vocal customers online who have had issues with a "popping" sound, and that concerns me a little. Hard to tell if they're overreacting or if...

You're thinking about adding brett at bottling time? That's just not how you do it. It's a good way to end up with bottle bombs and foam. French-kissed-horse is the least of your worries.

Nothing will instantly decarbonate your beer. It just doesn't happen. It's really difficult to take gas out of solution, so if you've found something that does it, there are lots of scientists who...

Blowing into a keg sounds like a great way to infect your beer with all sorts of nasties. Your mouth is kind of the opposite of good sanitation, even if you use mouthwash.

Your beer will be fine...

Ever tried explaining color to a blind man?

Oranges and lemons (and tart cherries!) are sour. Most have flavors like citric acid, though it's usually lactic that causes the real taste.

I had one. I used it for about 3 brews before it got way out of calibration.

Temperature is one of the most important things to all-grain. It's hard enough to hit the right temperature, and much...

Vote for what I should brew next!!

EdWorts Haus Pale Ale is also excellent and very popular. Works great with citra hops, too.

Or you might try a Kölsch. Nearly a lager, and nice when fermented cold.

Which hops to use?

I have a pale ale recipe I really like. I've made it with 100% Citra hops and 100% Cascade hops to great effect. It's based off EdWort's Haus Pale.

I'd like to make this again, and this time...

I've taken the stance that one should never give up on beer. If your batch tastes bad, follow the process:
* Step 1: Chill the bottle for 48 hours.
* Step 2: Pour and taste.
* Step 3: If it still...

Cellar it for awhile. Here's the method I use when a brew seems to have gone bad.

Step 1: Wait 30 days.
Step 2: Refrigerate and try a bottle.
Step 3: If it's still bad, go back to step 1.
