It would be pretty easy. Just get the correct sized grommet from the LHBS and drill a hole in the lid. Bucket lids are cheap, so if you mess one up, spend $3 and try again.

There's a few decent beer bars, but a bunch of good bottle stores. 'City Beer' is an amazing place to get take out bottles. They get fresh Pliny the Elder just about every week.
