Perfect, how long have most of you let this sit and age after you're done before its best to drink? I had a cider (dry) that took near 6 months, but I can crank out a quick mead in 60 days.

Well the few ciders I have made are maybe 4-6% overall depending, the cider I buy are Strongbow, Hornsby and Woodchuck.

Thank you for the yeast information, yes that helps.

I enjoy the kick, however I am not a sipper of Mead, but a drinker, so I prefer a larger quantity of lower ABV Mead for the job. :cross:

I made a 1 gallon with 100% cider, and it fermented out in 3 days, I then racked it to a secondary and it was darn clear...
