The great thing about these Bayou Classic pots is that lip up at the top. If you look at his pictures you can see it. The steamer-basket rests on that, not touching the element.

I'm a big fan of 1 and 2 vessel brewing setups but don't even consider BIAB on larger batches. You'll hate it. Beyond the mess and weight of it all, it also really takes away the spirit of BIAB....

You could get a 15gal kettle and cooler mash tun for the same price, probably less even....

Yeah I'm pretty sad to get rid of it. I really, really enjoyed building it though. I'm sure once I'm settled I'll make me one of those 1-vessel BIAB rigs or something I can store in a closet.
